Privacy Notice

This notice describes the information that may move through Wright County Released Inmates, why it is used, which service providers may receive it, and the choices available to visitors. It also explains the separate role of government and third-party links.

Information You Submit

A name, location, or other term entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. Wright County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s policy controls its handling after submission.

If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the message and supplied contact details may be kept long enough to answer and manage the exchange. They are not shared outside the organization unless that is needed to provide the response or required by law.

Automatic Technical Data

Normal web operations may record technical facts when a page loads. These facts help measure use and diagnose faults.

  • Internet Protocol address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed and time spent
  • Referring page or site, when supplied
  • Request timestamps

Cookies and similar tools may measure how visitors use the site. Browser controls can block or delete them, though some functions may then behave differently.

How Data Is Used

Collected information supports limited operational purposes.

  • Keep pages available and responsive
  • Pass a search to the selected partner
  • Measure which content is useful
  • Detect and repair technical problems
  • Display advertising that may reflect interests

Other Sites and Services

Links may lead to Wright County offices, Missouri courts, MODOC, federal locators, release-record sources, or outside search tools. Once a visitor leaves, the destination’s privacy terms control. Wright County Released Inmates does not direct how those systems collect or keep data.

Advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across sites and select ads. That tracking occurs through their systems and policies, not as a government-record function of this site.

Who May Receive Data

Personal information is not sold as a list. It may be handled by:

  • Search partners that process a submitted query
  • Analytics providers that measure site performance
  • Advertising networks that deliver ads
  • Law enforcement or another government body responding to a valid legal order

Security Has Limits

Reasonable administrative and technical practices are used to protect information. No internet-connected service can promise perfect security, uninterrupted protection, or freedom from every breach. Visitors should avoid sending sensitive data that an official office has not asked them to submit.

Adults Only

This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contact Us page to request review and deletion.

Your Privacy Choices

Subject to applicable law and verification, a visitor may:

  • Ask what personal data is held
  • Request correction of inaccurate submitted information
  • Ask for deletion where permitted
  • Object to or opt out of certain processing

These choices concern data controlled by this private site. Government records are held under Missouri law, including Chapter 610 and its closure and expungement provisions, and requests about them must go to the originating custodian.

Changes to This Notice

This privacy notice may be revised as services, providers, or legal duties change. An updated version takes effect when it is posted here with a revised effective date.
